Spencer, WV – Roane General Hospital (RGH) is pleased to announce the addition of Thomas McLaughlin, OD, to its optometry team at Roane General Medical Associates (RGMA) in Spencer.

Dr. McLaughlin will join optometry specialists Brett K. Radow, OD, and John Cline, OD, at RGMA. He has over 25 years of experience providing optometry care and has spent his career practicing in Pennsylvania.

Dr. McLaughlin will see patients of all ages four days per week and is now accepting appointments for routine eye exams, glasses and contact lens prescriptions, and the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of eye conditions.

“For more than 30 years, Roane General Hospital has been offering vision services in the community,” said Roane General Hospital’s Vice President of Rural Health Clinics, Leah James. “As Dr. Radow approaches retirement, it’s been a priority for the hospital to recruit experienced physicians who will ensure a smooth transition in vision care for our patients. We are fortunate to have Dr. McLaughlin and Dr. Cline practicing with us.”

Optometry services are offered Monday through Friday at RGMA. To schedule an appointment, patients should call (304) 927-5112. For more information about RGH, its services, and providers, visit roanegeneralhospital.org.
