Roane General Hospital Welcomes Cardiology Provider Howard “Kevin” Fletcher

You are here:

Over eight years ago, Roane General Hospital introduced cardiology as a specialty service for our patients in Roane and surrounding counties. With cardiovascular disease being among the top diagnoses for patients in our area, bringing heart care closer to home has been invaluable for our patients and the community.

Dr. Scott Duffy has played a key role in building the quality cardiology program that patients have grown to trust today. As many of you may already know, Dr. Duffy is currently on a leave of absence. In an effort to support the needs of his established patient base and strengthen the cardiology program, we have hired full-time cardiology provider Howard “Kevin” Fletcher, APRNCNP.

Kevin joins our cardiology team with a strong reputation in the greater Charleston area where he has been a nurse practitioner of cardiology for the past 20 years. In addition to Kevin’s commitment to caring for patients, he is also a proud member of the 130th Airlift Wing of the Air National Guard.

Kevin will work alongside David Adkins, PA-C, to continue providing the same high-quality general and diagnostic cardiology services patients have grown to trust at RGH. Those services include treatment and management of a variety of heart conditions, EKGs, stress tests, echocardiograms, heart monitors, hospital consultations, referrals for cardiac rehabilitation and more.

If you have questions about the transition of your care or would like to schedule a cardiology appointment, please do not hesitate to contact Roane General Medical Clinic at (304) 927-6822.

Thank you for trusting us with your care.
