Carroll Christiansen, MD
Dr. Christiansen is a Board Certified Family Practice physician at Roane County Family Health Care. He received his medical degree from Loyola University, Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, Illinois, and joined the Medical Staff at RGH in September of 1983.
Dr. Christiansen has a compassion for third world countries and has generously contributed many hours to the citizens of Haiti. He has performed short term medical clinics in several different locations in the Caribbean nation and speaks Haitian Creole “passably well”. He has also volunteered many hours to the local Boy Scouts. His hobbies include raising goats, dancing, and sailing.
Dr. Christiansen and his wife Mary have 2 sons, 1 daughter, and a 3-year-old granddaughter Caroline Mary (named after her Grandpa and Grandma Christiansen).
Dr. Christiansen’s compassion and concern for others is commendable and RGH is fortunate to have him on our team!
